🕹️ Bounty Hunter (PvE)

Introduction

Bounty Hunter is our first game where players can own an NFT character, level it up and earn rewards while completing missions. This game will reward players with a valuable token called Gamma Bounty (GBNT). The value of GBNT comes from its low inflation (you cannot farm it) and the high APR (GBNT/MATIC) and also its use cases in the other games. Due to the high value of GBNT, the odds in this game will not be in your favor especially in the beginning. The missions will be hard and deadly (literally); If you have a critical failure, your NFT character will die in this game. On the other hand, If you manage to complete enough missions without dying, your character can become legendary and start minting you GBNT as a passive income!

Missions

There will be four missions in the game and you can only play these missions If you have an NFT character with the required rarity.

  • Eradicate Space Bugs: You need to have a common (0-25 level) character to sign this contract.

  • Take Down the Drug Cartel: You need to have a Rare (26-50 level) character to sign this contract.

  • Search and Rescue: You need to have an Epic (51-75 level) character to sign this contract.

  • Steal an Ancient Artifact from Aliens: You need to have a Legendary (76-100) character to sign this contract.

Possible Outcomes

There will be four possible outcomes when you play a mission. These are;

  • Critical Failure: This is the worst scenario where your NFT character dies and you cannot get any rewards.

  • Mediocre Success: This is the second worst scenario where you cannot achieve your objective but still manage to get some rewards for your efforts.

  • Success: This is the scenario where you complete the objectives expected from you, and you receive a handsome Bounty.

  • Great Success: This is the best scenario where you over achieve, and you are greatly rewarded for your performance.

Odds

We will create a tool on the web page where you can calculate the odds for each try. The odds of winning depends on the character level and the mission you try to complete. Higher level character will give you more chance of success, and lower level missions are easier to complete but less rewarding. Until we build our calculation tool, you can check the table below to have an idea about the odds:

If you have a critical failure, your character will die but you will retain 94% of your experience. You can keep earning reserve experience after reaching level 100. If you have enough reserve experience, your character will not level down after death.

GBNT and XP Rewards

In the gamma layer, we have three tiers of hunters; 10x, 50x and 100x. All these hunters earn the same amount of XP from missions and they have the same success chances; the only difference with them is the cost/reward ratio. While a 100x hunter requires 100 GPUL to play and reward 100 GBNT, a 10x hunter will require 10 GPUL to play and reward 10 GBNT. This is done in order to offer missions suitable for all budgets.

The game rewards you experience (XP) and GBNT tokens. These rewards might be subjected to changes according to price action of our native tokens. Experience increases the chances for your character to succeed in missions, while GBNT token enables you to compete in Pulsarena. There are two tables below showing you the GBNT and XP rewards.

Sources Minting GBNT

Bounty Token does not have a fixed emission rate. This token will be rare and valuable, and it can only be earned with a Play to Earn model.

There are two sources to earn GBNT:

1- Mission Rewards

Buying an NFT character and playing missions will reward you GBNT after successful completion. Both the NFT character and the missions require GPUL as payment. You can check the table above for GBNT rewards.

2- 100 level Pensioner (Removed Feature)

This feature has been removed due to a problem occurred after chainlink integration.

As you complete missions with your NFT character, you will level up. If you can reach level 100 , your character will earn the right to retire and start receiving GBNT tokens as pension. The pension amount is determined by the "Total Bounty Token Collected" with your last character.

The character below mints 0.00145 per block.

  • 1 block is 2.1 seconds on Polygon

  • 1 day is 86,400 seconds

  • 86,400/2.1 = 41,142 blocks every day

  • 41,142 x 0.00145 = 60 GBNT daily

NFT Characters:

Meet our first NFT character, Paul Peirce an ex marine who served during the great war of Pulsaria against three other planets in the system. After the war, he was honorably discharged and started serving as a freelancer to solve problems of Pulsarians.
